The science is real- being kind and compassionate are known to boost your immune system, reduce stress, anxiety and depression. So be kind to someone today and do yourself some good.
Each month we will post simple acts of kindness to inspire you and boost your wellbeing.
Write a note to a coworker letting them know what you appreciate about them or their work. Be specific.
Let someone into your lane with a smile and a wave.
Call a family member or friend that might be going through something hard and just listen. Listening is gold.
Post a positive review of your favorite local business on Google or Yelp.
Leave flowers (handpicked or store bought) on a neighbors doorstep with a note.
Corral a couple of shopping carts to save parked cars from being dinged and to help the grocery store clerks.
Compliment your partner on something they haven’t heard from you before.
Each day look for ways to be kind - that might be picking up trash, giving compliments to people that serve your coffee or mow your lawn, or even holding your tongue when doing so would be the kind thing.
Practice these acts of kindness and enjoy as the miracle unfolds as you will feel more upbeat and positive and because kindness is contagious it will create ripple effects in your community.
